Frank Askin, 2017 SALT “Great Teacher” and Clinic Innovator Passes

Frank Askin, founder of the Rutgers Law School Constitutional Litigation Clinic, longtime general counsel of the national ACLU and 2017 SALT “Great Teacher” honoree, passed away early this month. SALT recognized him in 2017 for his tireless defense of civil liberties and his work mentoring and training a new generation of civil rights lawyers.
